IShowSpeed is going back to school, and this time the teachers are some of the most decorated athletes on the planet. The streamer has dropped the trailer for Season 2 of his YouTube series Speed Goes Pro, and the guest list reads like a sports hall of fame: Mike Tyson, Usain Bolt, Serena Williams, Michael Phelps, Derek Jeter and bowling legend Pete Weber. The new season arrives on Wednesday, November 4.
Six sports, six G.O.A.T.s
Season 2 runs six episodes, and each one is built around a different sport. According to production company OBB Media, Speed gets a crash course from world-class trainers and pros before facing off against a legend of that sport. This year the matchups cover boxing with Tyson, sprinting with Bolt, tennis with Williams, swimming with Phelps, baseball with Jeter and bowling with Weber.
That mix is a deliberate step up. The lineup now spans Olympic gold medalists, a former undisputed heavyweight champion, a 23-time Grand Slam singles winner and a five-time World Series champion, which gives the show a much bigger sports pedigree than most creator-led series ever get.
Building on a big first season
The first season premiered in September 2025 as the first premium ongoing series on Speed’s channel. It paired him with Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, gymnast Suni Lee, competitive eater Joey Chestnut and WWE star Randy Orton. The show is produced by OBB in partnership with DICK’S Sporting Goods, which presents the series again this year.
The formula clearly worked well enough to bring back. Speed, who was named Streamer of the Year in 2024 and has well over 50 million YouTube subscribers, gets to show off his trademark energy, while the athletes get exposure to a young audience that may not watch traditional sports broadcasts.
The Usain Bolt storyline finally pays off
Fans had a hunch Bolt was involved well before the official announcement. Back in May 2025, the retired sprinter sent Speed a video message offering to coach him, saying he was done running but could help him get faster. Then in late September 2026, footage shared online appeared to show Speed training at a high school track with cameras rolling and Bolt standing nearby, which sent speculation into overdrive.
It also fits Speed’s long obsession with proving how fast he is. He famously raced Olympic 100-meter champion Noah Lyles in 2024 and lost, and he has repeatedly claimed he could outrun pro footballers. Getting a session with the fastest man in history is the natural next chapter.
Boxing joins the lineup
One of the biggest changes this season is the addition of boxing, a sport that was not part of Season 1. Speed had teased a boxing segment while filming, and the trailer confirms he will be stepping in with Mike Tyson. Expect that episode to be one of the most-clipped moments of the season, given both men’s larger-than-life personalities.
Why it matters
Speed Goes Pro is a good example of how the line between streaming culture and mainstream sports keeps blurring. Brands like DICK’S are putting real production money behind creator-hosted shows, and legends are lining up to appear on them. For Speed, it is another step from chaotic livestreams toward polished, TV-style entertainment.
What’s next: Season 2 premieres November 4, exclusively on IShowSpeed’s YouTube channel. Which matchup are you most excited to watch?
